Since the launch of Scoop Publishing and the flagship Scoop Magazine in 1997, Scoop has provided consulting, media and digital marketing services to thousands of small businesses, community, government and peak industry bodies.

Our trusted media brands, cutting-edge technology and extensive content allows us to provide bespoke solutions unavailable from other consultancies.

We have invested more than $4 million into our cutting-edge Content & Technology licensing platform (see below), which allows us to provide clients with fully-customisable content and world-leading functionality, including the ability to create, save and share customised lists and trails.

Using this platform we have built the only comprehensive guide to arts, events, travel & lifestyle in WA, representing more than 6,000 organisations and 5,000 events across the Scoop network every year.

Through our various media brands, websites, newsletters, social media and content-licensing network, we provide our clients with access to more than 100,000 engaged users per week, focused specifically on the high-spending AB market aged 30 years and above.

Our unique combination of content, technology and media assets allow us to unique, fully-integrated state-wide solutions for organisations such as peak-industry bodies, universities, local & state government.

Scoop has invested more than $4 million to develop a globally scalable directory platform, able to license fully-customisable content and a cutting-edge user-experience from the cloud to an infinite number of 3rd party websites and apps.

This technology provides users with the ability to easily navigate more than 6,000 listings and then create, name, save and share fully-customisable lists and trails across email and popular social media platforms.

Through content and technology licensing, we can provide organisations such as local governments, visitor centres, universities, peak industry bodies and tourism operators with rich, fully customisable content and cutting-edge functionality at a minimal cost, while at the same time, providing business and event listings with free exposure to the traffic on a growing number of network partner websites.

Through this platform, we have developed the only comprehensive guide to art, events, travel & lifestyle in WA, representing more than 6,000 organisations and 5,000 events per year.

Connecting WA

At Scoop, we believe the future lies in collaboration and communication.

For this purpose, we have developed the only comprehensive guide to arts, events, lifestyle and travel in WA, representing more than 6,000 business and community groups and 5,000 events per year.

More than just a directory, users are able to create and share their own lists and trails across all popular social media platforms. We have also made it easy for businesses, visitor centres, local government, community groups and peak industry bodies to showcase this content on their own website.

Through this network we are able to provide businesses, community groups and events with free access to market. The Scoop Guides are free to use and free to join and are currently searched more than 150,000 times per month.

Our vision is that one day, all users and stakeholders will work off the same platform, providing our communities with the free technology, content and market-reach they need to thrive in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing environment.

Our Team

Headed by Scoop founder David Hogan, who has over 20 years experience in the media and marketing industry as a consultant and small business owner, the Scoop Digital team includes experts in marketing communications, digital marketing, content production, technology and web development.

Internships & Employment

Over 21 years, Scoop has provided first-time full-time employment to many hundreds of youth and university graduates, as well as internships leading to employment with other businesses. Scoop manages a highly successful internship program for final year students and university graduates wishing to gain valuable skills and experience in digital content, marketing and sales. Internships are for a minimum of 26 days, typically for two days per week over 13 weeks, but can be tailored to suit individual requirements. Send applications to [email protected].
